AZORES | José Manuel Bolieiro and Luís Montenegro agree on holding intergovernmental summit

The President of the Regional Government of the Azores, José Manuel Bolieiro, met with Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, on Monday in Lisbon. They agreed to hold a summit between the Azorean Government and the National Government by the end of the year.

The meeting between both leaders took place at the São Bento Palace, the Prime Minister’s official residence.

The possibility remained open regarding the Prime Minister travelling to the Azores before the intergovernmental summit to strengthen direct contact with José Manuel Bolieiro on various matters of interest to the Region and the Country.
