NEW’S | Vocational training is opportunity for young people to succeed, stressed José Manuel Bolieiro
The President of the Regional Government of the Azores, José Manuel Bolieiro, stressed that vocational training represents an “opportunity for success in the personal, family, professional and entrepreneurial life” of young people.
“Professional qualification, through vocational training, has a good future,” the President of the Government said, speaking to journalists after visiting, with the Regional Secretary for Youth, Vocational Training and Employment, Maria João Carreiro, the Horta Vocational School, Faial Island.
For the President of the Government, who offered a “word of confidence to all vocational training schools” in the Azores, employers should be attentive to the training of their workers, as these institutions provide opportunities for the future.
“I urge employers to find that opportunity in our vocational schools throughout our islands,” said José Manuel Bolieiro.
The President of the Government praised the good management of Horta Vocational School, recalling that similar institutions should privilege “rigour” in this area.
“I would like to compliment the good management of Horta Vocational School, as a good example of management, sustainability, training and professional qualification,” he said.
