The President of the Regional Government of the Azores, José Manuel Bolieiro, received the board of AIPA – Association of Immigrants in the Azores at an audience held on Wednesday.
At the meeting, held at the Sant’Ana Palace in Ponta Delgada, the association outlined its priorities for 2024 and also discussed data concerning the presence of immigrants in the Region.
“In the new year, with the wars in Europe and around the world, may we be prepared to be a good example,” he emphasised, highlighting the partnership between AIPA and the Government.
The Regional Director for the Communities, José Andrade, also attended the meeting.
