The mySaúde Açores app surpassed one million hits today, consolidating its position as a leading digital tool for bringing citizens closer to the Regional Health Service. Currently, the app has over 38,000 registered users, reflecting growing popularity among the Azorean population.

The distribution of registrations shows widespread use across all islands, with particular emphasis on Terceira Island, with 21% of registered users, and Faial, with 22%.

According to the Regional Secretary for Health and Social Security, Mónica Seidi, these figures confirm the positive impact of digital transformation in the health sector.

“Surpassing one million visits to the mySaúde Açores app in a year is a very significant milestone, which demonstrates the confidence of users and proves that we are on the right path towards modernising health services in the Region,” stressed Mónica Seidi.

The government official assured that user satisfaction has kept pace with the app’s development. Based on the satisfaction survey results, 71% of users rated their experience as “excellent.” The majority assessed the service positively and expressed a willingness to recommend it to friends and family.

“The high satisfaction rate confirms that we are responding to the actual needs of citizens with a functional, intuitive and user-focused application,” stated Mónica Seidi.

The Regional Secretary also highlighted the external recognition of the project. In this regard, he noted that the Recuperar Portugal Mission Structure and the European Commission, under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), expressed their satisfaction not only with the achievement of the planned goal but also with the quality and functionality of the mySaúde Açores application.
